The Department of Mechanics is organizing the 27th international conference Apllied Mechanics 2026.

The Department of Mechanics of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of West Bohemia is organizing the 41st scientific conference with international participation COMPUTATIONAL MECHANICS 2026. The conference will be held from November 9 to November 11, 2026 at Hotel Srní, Srní, Czech Republic.

The Department of Mechanics has been publishing the international journal Applied and Computational Mechanics since 2007, which has been indexed in the Scopus database since 2016.
