The aim of the 27th annual scientific conference with international participation Computational Mechanics 2011 (CM 2011) is to inform all participants and wide scientific community about topical problems and new results gained in various fields of engineering mechanics for last year and to extend the cooperation among academical and industrial institutions.

Scientific Program of the Conference
The scientific program of the conference will start with the section of invited talks and then it will continue with lectures in parallel sessions. Topics of the conference are following:
- analysis, mathematical modelling and numerical simulation in solid mechanics, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
- biomechanics
- fluid-structure interaction
- heterogeneous media and multiscale problems
- dynamics of mechanical systems
- mechatronics and vibrations
- reliability and durability of structures
- fracture mechanics
- mechanics in civil engineering
- experimental methods in mechanics
Accepted contributions will be presented as lecture presentations. Each lecture room is equipped with overhead projector, data-projector and laptop with operating system Windows.
The best works of research workers under 35 years presented during the conference will be financially awarded by the Czech Society for Mechanics.

The organizing committee reserves the right to close the registration in the case of participants limit number exceeding.
